I haven't been to many weddings (three to be exact), but this was without a doubt the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. Part of it had to do with the fact that I was so happy for Cheri and Josh :) Something I really enjoyed about their wedding was that instead of lighting a unity candle they actually poured two different colors of sand into a jar together. The thing I like about his is that a candle though a great representative isn't exactly a true representative of what marriage is. A candle can be blown out. Meanwhile, when you blend sand together, can you ever separate all those grains of sand after they are blended together? I don't think so. I love that imagery. Marriage is a wonderful forever lasting thing created and blessed by God.
I am still so excited that I got to be a part of Cheri and Josh's special day! I am praying for countless blessing on their marraige as they start the rest of thier lives together. Best of luck Cheri and Josh! I love you both!
