One of the most epic nights of my life.
Why you ask?
One amazing voice:
Two of my closest friends and I went to see Josh Groban in concert! It was the first time any of us had seen him in concert, but it was also my first concert EVER! It was so amazing!
Josh was charming, talented, and absolutely halarious. I mean honestly for a guy with such serious music I couldn't believe how funny he was! He had our sides aching the entire show. Yet of course the most amazing thing about him is is voice. You know how some singers sound different live? I swear I was listening to him on the cd. He was unbelievably inspiring! He is my favorite singer of all time. His voice is phenominal! I was starstruck the entire evening. Between his wit and his unique music I was mesmerized for the entire three hours of the concert. Yes, I also must admit let out quite a few uncharacteristic fan girl squeals... eeep!
On our way back home after the concert we were seriously on cloud nine. Many lines of "Oh my gosh I can't believe we saw him live!" "He was standing right there!" "He's so cute!" etc... That night I feel asleep exhausted, but elated. The next day I couldn't stop thinking about how greatly God blessed Josh Groban. I don't know if Josh Groban is a Christian, though he does sing a few songs about God and Jesus, but I just think that a voice like that could only be a gift from God. After going to the concert I was so inspired by how mighty God is that He would bless someone with such an amazing talent.
"Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in Heaven." - Matthew 5:16
Thank you God for Josh Groban. :) haha. Thank you God for talents.
I think the idea of "God given talents" is so important. We should be using our talents daily to glorify our God. Whether our talent is to inspire people through powerful song song, make people laugh, or write a silly blog that brightens someone's day... What talent has God given YOU to use for His glory?
