Art Lock-in Event
This coming week the entire middle school (6th through 8th grade) is headed out on Fall Trips (shout out to private school perks). I will be travelling as a chaperone with the 7th grade to many famous sites in the Shandong province. For 4 days and 3 nights, we—6 chaperones and 34 students—will travel by bus to a number of hours across the province. I am excited to see more of this awesome country I call home AND have another opportunity to get to know my students better! All the same, I ask that you p—y for safety in all things for our trip. Be expecting lots of pictures and stories in my next blog!
The following week, after we return from Fall Trips, school is out all week due to National Day in China. Here is a little background/introduction on this holiday:
I am happy to end this short little update saying, it was a great week here in China! Week four saw so many things that are still unknown and frightening, but it has been so important for me to recognize how much I have to be thankful for in the past month. My Father has confirmed for me many times that this is where I am supposed to be right now. I hope to make Him (and all of you) proud of me!
Soli Deo Gloria!
